Two people sustained serious injuries in a car crash at the J.J. Bakery in the 2300 block of Crenshaw Boulevard on June 18, 2010. According to the news report published in the Daily Breeze, a woman was parking her Mercedes Benz in front of the J.J. Bakery when she hit the gas instead of the brakes and struck the front door.
A person standing close to the cash register was pinned against the cooler placed in the bakery and the cashier was pinned between the back wall and the cash counter. Both the injured victims suffered serious bone injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
We hope that both the injured victims did not sustain any catastrophic injury and return back to their normal lives soon. It is indeed fortunate that the other people in the bakery were not hit in this accident. From the new report is appears that the lady in Mercedes caused the traffic accident. If she is indeed found responsible for causing this single vehicle car crash, she may be held liable to pay the injured victims a legal compensation.
