Two people sustained critical injuries and several others were also injured in a Los Angeles car crash after a tour bus collided with another vehicle head on. According to the Pasadena Star News report, this auto accident occurred on June 17, 2010, near the intersection of Garvey Avenue and San Gabriel Boulevard when a Nissan Sentra was rear ended by a Honda Civic.
The impact pushed the Nissan right in the lane of oncoming traffic and lead to a head-on collision with a tour bus. According to a news report, 20 passengers travelling in the tour bus sustained minor non-catastrophic injuries. Drivers of both the vehicles were taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
The tour bus belonged to the US Asia tour bus company and was heading towards a casino. If the driver of the Honda Civic is found guilty behind this accident, then he or she might be held liable for the injuries caused. The injured may be entitled for compensation to cover the cost of hospitalization and treatment of injuries caused. It is possible that the driver of the Honda Civic was driving under influence, was generally negligent, or distracted.
However, it is unlikely that the driver of the Honda has enough insurance or assets to pay for all the damage that he caused.
